Beer Ganache

Let’s make a beer ganache, this would be soooo good on a cake too…

What you need

100ml or 1/2 cup cream ( I used oat cream)

200g chocolate or 1 cup (I used 78% dark chocolate)

1 tablespoon ( I used vegan butter)

50ml or 1/4 cup beer (best works stout, black ale, porter…)

1 teaspoon glucose

2 tablespoons sugar

Instruction

  1. Chop chocolate into small pieces in a bowl and add butter

  2. Heat cream, beer, glucose and sugar in a small sauce pan until it starts boiling

  3. Pour cream beer mix over chocolate in 3 small steps. Stir well

  4. Blend with immersion blender

  5. Cool down to 30C/86F before piping
