Cake Pop Chocolate Truffle Thingies

I love Kombucha. Why not bringing chocolate and Kombucha together? Well it’s not as easy as it sounds like…

Ingredients for cake:

  • 1 1/2 cups or 180 g almond flour

  • 1/4 cup or 30 g chopped dark chocolate

  • 2 1/4 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 3/4 cup or Kombucha or your choice 

  • 3 eggs or 3 flax seed eggs

  • 1/3 cup or 40 g sugar

Ingredients for chocolate covering:

  • 200 g tempered chocolate

  • toppings like shredded coconut, cacao nibs, sugar, nuts…

  • colored cacao butter if you want them colored

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F

2. Prepare 9 inch pan, line with parchment paper

3. Stir all ingredients together well

4. Spread into the pan

5. Bake for 30-40 min

6. Let cool completely before rolling into chocolate 

7. Form little balls out of your cake

8. Hand roll balls into tempered chocolate 

9. Roll into your topping

10. Add color if you want to make it more colorful
